Boost up Your Sales

Friday, April 10th, 2009

Big or small, every business needs a marketing strategy in order to succeed and continue running for a long time.

Marketing is extremely important to the SME’s (small and medium enterprises) especially to the newly start-up ones. One of the most effective form of business marketing is the word-of-mouth. If one client likes your product or service, he or she will tell five friends. In return, if this five friend will have a wonderful experience with your company, they will also spread the word to twenty more friends. This cycle goes on and on while earning you more clients, boosting up your sales and profits. However, this can be a double-edged sword and could work against you if one client receives bad service or is just simply dissatisfied with your product.

One cost-effective way of letting people know about your product or services is to advertise thru the internet or better yet create your own website. One click and millions of internet users can view what you have to offer. For major web traffic, make sure that you make your site attractive and user friendly. Also, upload product pictures and details. It might also be a good idea to include a feedback form in case your clients need to ask you something.

Just Got Back from a Wonderful Vacation!

Friday, April 10th, 2009

I vividly remember waking up to the sound of the waves constantly splashing and the smell of the salty sea breeze. Ah, this is the life. The feeling of sunlight on my face and the wind blowing on my face and hair is priceless.

I’ve always wanted to go on a vacation on a faraway location and relax on the white sand beach barefoot while sipping on my coconut juice. I particularly enjoyed swimming on the clear blue sea and collecting seashells and starfishes of all sizes. Donned with a sexy bikini and a large straw hat, I animatedly chat with the locals and a few fellow tourists. If you are particularly lucky, you might gain a lifetime friend or maybe even a partner.

While on vacation, I get to eat anything I want. I try my best not to gain weight during these wonderful vacations but I just can’t help it. The fresh sea foods, exotic dishes and 24 hour room service are extremely tempting.

Do I need to mention the excellent souvenirs one can find during vacations? If you love collecting small items like key chains, postcards or flags, you can buy them at any local souvenir shop. However, if you are into something bigger and more expensive, you may need to go to a different store.

I can’t wait for next year’s vacation. Want to come and join me?

Happy Easter, Everyone!

Friday, April 10th, 2009

This year, Easter will be celebrated on April 12, 2009. Many kids and adults look forward to this yearly event not only because this is to commemorate Jesus’ death and resurrection but this is also the chance for many families to spend time with each member by getting together for a picnic or barbeque, painting and hunting Easter eggs. Some people also keep up with the tradition of giving out marshmallow chicks and chocolate bunnies to their friends and relatives.

Ever since my son started walking, he would join various Easter egg hunts together with his cousins and toddler friends. Now that he is older and wiser, he’s able to collect a basketful of eggs without any help. He would flash his adorable smile every time he would find a really beautifully painted one. But what he really loves is finding the egg shaped chocolates and eating them afterwards..

Whatever you like about Easter Sunday, you should also take the time to relax and update with friends and relatives. However, if you have been so busy at work lately, you can just spend a quiet time at your home and just paint a bunch of eggs. Remember that painting is one way of relieving stress.
