Happy Easter, Everyone!
This year, Easter will be celebrated on April 12, 2009. Many kids and adults look forward to this yearly event not only because this is to commemorate Jesus’ death and resurrection but this is also the chance for many families to spend time with each member by getting together for a picnic or barbeque, painting and hunting Easter eggs. Some people also keep up with the tradition of giving out marshmallow chicks and chocolate bunnies to their friends and relatives.
Ever since my son started walking, he would join various Easter egg hunts together with his cousins and toddler friends. Now that he is older and wiser, he’s able to collect a basketful of eggs without any help. He would flash his adorable smile every time he would find a really beautifully painted one. But what he really loves is finding the egg shaped chocolates and eating them afterwards..
Whatever you like about Easter Sunday, you should also take the time to relax and update with friends and relatives. However, if you have been so busy at work lately, you can just spend a quiet time at your home and just paint a bunch of eggs. Remember that painting is one way of relieving stress.
